AstraZeneca’s mission is to create a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients we serve and...
Recently, a very personal experience solidified my purpose for what I do every day. An immediate family member had a life-threatening medical event that woke me up to the importance of making sure I use my knowledge to help educate my family, friends and everyone in my circle of influence so that they trust the science behind our life-saving medicines. My purpose is to help the pharmaceutical industry earn back the trust of patients because each of us and those we love are patients or will be at some time in the future. I am committed to ensuring that patients have a voice in the development of our medicines and services. My current role in Patient Centricity allows me to connect my passion for people with our company value to Put Patients First.
I have spent 2 decades in the pharmaceutical industry, working in the US and Japan markets as well as across the globe in Global Medical Affairs. I have a particular passion for the value that Medical Affairs brings to HCPs and their patients and to the business. I started my career as an Administrative Coordinator, so I love helping others discover their leadership potential. I have spent over 10 years focusing my spare time on women's leadership initiatives.

As a Patient Centricity Excellence Director in the pharma industry, I will co-create with patients when building capability and training programs on how to best work with patients.
